Rookies from Green Bay

Hello everyone! My name is Tonia and my husband and I have just recieved notice that our 2016 Sunset Trail Super Lite is ready to be picked up at the dealership. We are completely new to the RV world, but having two little boys, I imagine that we will put the trailer to good use. Everything about having a nice and new RV is making me nervous (especially learning that the dealership that we bought it through can be shady with their customer service), but I'm hoping that everything goes well. I look forward to learning a lot of things from everyone here!

Welcome aboard from one Wisconsinite to another!

Like Frank said, be sure to do a complete PDI. Don't let them rush thru it.
Here is a link for one. Print it out and take it with you. Maybe even send one to the dealer so they know what to expect, and how long to schedule.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the info! I have the PDI booklet (or maybe I should call it a novel) all ready to go. I guess my husband and I are going to have to take a half a day off of work to go through all these things, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

The more time you take up front will save you down the road....Especially being new to TV's there are a lot of systems to learn. Enjoy the new trailer and making lots of memories with the little ones!!!!

Welcome aboard!
If you have a video camera or a phone with lots of spare memory, record EVERYTHING.
Including the wInterizing steps.

Good luck & safe travels from Texas.

Welcome from Appleton!

You'll love your new unit. Don't be shy if you have questions. It is easier to ask then to struggle to figure them out alone. Either ask the dealer or ask us.

Welcome and listen to all the comments you just received. Once you pick it up, the dollar store is your friend. You can buy lots of items to get your new RV stocked from plates, glasses, dish towels, utensils, table cloths, etc. You'll find everyone in the forum is very friendly and will always help if they can.
