Soon to be new Crossroads Owner

We are very excited to have found this forum and very excited to start our adventures with our 4 kids. My wife and I have rented many campers but finally decided to make a purchase and increase our number of trips. Our kids absolutely love the outdoors and the freedom that camping affords them. After 4 months of searching we finally pulled the trigger on a 2018 Sunset Trails 331BH. We cannot wait to take delivery on it Friday the 26th and start the memories in our own unit. I look forward to gaining much knowledge from all the experience and information on this site and want to thank you for the add.

Welcome and good luck! Crawl up and look the roof over well for failing seals and caulk during your PDI. Safe travels

Thanks for the recommendation. Is it ok to walk on the roof of these? I have read many posts that say the sunset trail with the radius roof you have to be careful.

Definitely can't walk on these roofs they are very thin luan plywood. With the arch and standing on a 6-8ft ladder you can get a pretty good view of all the critical areas. Mine just failed on the rear corner within 2 months had be checking it every so often and within that time the caulk separated (see pic). And a skylight seal was bad in the same time...a screw popped and I had to run a new one in and reseal...hence the white only thing I had on hand before rain storm.

Good idea ...doesn't take up much room and can be used in case of a side of the road flat to keep the knees off the crushed stone.

Congrats! I am looking at the same model. Love the layout for the family, but do have some concern on size and hauling with 2013 F150 limited EcoBoost. Any feedback or experiences greatly appreciated.

I have now pulled it with my 3/4 ton and my wife's expedition and had no problems. I did opt for the 4point equalizer hitch and I believe that makes all the difference. Good luck on your new purchase. We love ours. We have only had it for 5 days. Taking our second trip this weekend.
