Adirondack New York Area

I know this is a late post but I just wanted to say the Hudson Valley area of New York has a lot of things to visit as well...There is a lot of history in this area...

Lake Placid area, just north. Was going last fall, had change of plans. Campground seemed good. don't remember name.

Thanks, we stayed in Lake George at the Lake George Escape, nice place except for the campsites that were under water. Luckily we were on higher ground. Loved the area hope to make it back sometime.
