Alaska recommendations

Hello,

I am renting a rv in Alaska this year and I am looking for recommendations in Whittier Alaska, only going to be there a couple of days. Would prefer some type of hookup since the is the beginning of our trip. Also any suggestions of things to do or places to avoid in this area would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Whittier only had a dumpy looking basic camp. porta johns. Interesting town ,has dump station with water at town garage and shower in grocery store. One way tunnel that shares vehicles and trains. No houses but everyone in town lives in a big apt tower.

Really? I'm going to have to add this to my bucket list destination.

We only stayed there one night as we were taking the ferry to valdez. Was a learning day . Cruise ships stop there and you can take a great glacier tour .

Thanks for the reply's, I kind of gathered that there isn't much there but I had to ask. Did you do the glacier tour? If so was it worth it?
