Am making plans to get out of the snow and head for Anza-Borrega State Park in CA, and the Parker Strip around Lake Havasu, AZ on/about March 1st. Any suggestions/experiences as to where to camp?
I shoveled last night's snow under blue skies this morning. It's now snowing again! Guess it's like washing windows and making it rain...I shoveled earlier today and made it snow. NO, I WILL NOT MISS THE SNOW!!!
Russ the way the weather has been out there this year I would take you snow shovel with you. We just got in from camping for the last thre nights. 75 degree weather and Abita Beer is no life grand

Hi, we are in Needles which is just west of Lake Havasu. The Needles Marina Park has a nice pool and spa. We chose this location because it is half way to Las Vegas and half way to Quartzite. We went to the rock show on the 11th in Quartzite and Las Vegas last weekend. If you want to dry camp you can find a spot in the BLM lands north of Quartzite on the way to Parker. Not all parks have internet and cable so if you need those call ahead of anyplace you think you may want to camp. They are getting alot of snow in Flagstaff so I'd travel on I 10 instead of I 40.
