IIRC, there are a lot of campgrounds in the tri-lakes area around Hot Springs. Used to live there for a few years as a kid but have only driven through in the past several years.

One of my favorites is Lake Degray. Nice lake and has a golf course onsite.

Looks like I will be in your area, what are some must see things in the Nashville area? I know the Grand Ole Opry, but what else? Maybe some less known things, we will have our 11 year old son with us. My boss said something about a civil war battle ground nearby, what are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance, and enjoy your camping this weekend! They are calling for snow here tonight, I am hoping they are wrong.

Oh so many places especially to see, there is the Grand Old Opry, the Parthenon, Bell Meade Mansion, of course downtown Nashville, Country Music Hall of Fame, Gaylord Hotel, Dollywood in East Tennessee for your son, there are great campgrounds in Nashville and East Tennessee.

I forgot, there is a Civil War battle ground in Murfreesboro about 20 miles south of Nashville and several more throughout the state. If you want more info just let me know.

If your staying in Nashville I would recommend the KOA, it has shuttle services to a lot of the places I mentioned
