Looking for a warm place to spend the next few months. What is your best recommendation. State, and Park name and why it's your favorite, thank you.

With a 7.3 diesel and a 5th wheel the part of the country is of no concern. That is why I left the questionso open ended. Your favorite park whatever part of the country.

Got some very nice parks here in the San Antonio area. It can get chilly here for short amount of time, i.e., 35 last night and 74 this afternoon but it is usually very nice. It is warmer if you go farther south into the Rio Grande Valley. Edited by: artgpo

There are no "Snowbird" parks in Texas but plenty of nice Winter Texan parks! This is our seventh year in the Rockport area and find the people very friendly and glad to have us here. The weather is usually very nice but we do get a few cool days. The Rio Grande Valley is usually a few degrees warmer but more crowded.

We Texans welcome everyone, however, those who come in the winter are called "Snowbirds". I do not think it means anything other than what in it is: people flocking to South Texas for its great winter weather and hospitality.

Y'all come, hear?

We have wintered here in Needles CA at the Needles Marina RV Park for our second year. It is a nice park right on the Colorado river. We like the location because it's a 2 hour drive to Las Vegas, it is near the Mohave natl monument, and a 2 hour drive from Quartzite the snowbird capital. The rates are very reasonable at $300 per month plus electricity. It has a nice pool, spa, and laundry.
