Planning 2016 summer in N.CA & OR

We love nature, hikes, waterfalls, natural hot springs, music and history.
Our next RV summer trip (from July-October) will start from LA and ends near Portland.
There is so much to see in a short time (4 Months only) so please help me out and suggest based on our interests what to see, where to camp (no boondocking).
Thank you

We spent 6 weeks around Bend, Oregon this summer and have a few suggestions. Of course Crater Lake NP, we stayed at Diamond Lk RV park (full hookups) near the north entrance and found plenty of other sights in the area. Around Bend, Or., there is Mt. Bachelor, Smith Rock SP (all the hiking you could possibly want), Steelhead Falls, Newberry Nat. Volcanic Monument (Paulina Peak, Ice Tube, etc.), Sahalle and Koosah Falls, Tumalo Falls (closed this yr), Crooked River overlook. We only spent a few nights along the coast. We didn't get to do everything and may go back next summer.

A recent issue of Trailer Life has a feature about the very northeast corner of Oregon worth considering. And of course there is Mt. Hood and the Columbia River area.

Turtle Rock resort. Just north of the CA. On the Oregon coast. Hot tubs on each RV site. Nice RV park.

Forgot, Silver Falls SP. It is supposed to be the premium state park in Oregon with plenty of hiking. We didn't to visit it, too far for a day trip and not enough time off from work to take the Cruiser.
