Planning on coming south of the border in August. We are looking at the Old Orchard Beach area to day trip from. We heard of Powderhorn and Bayleys. Does anyone have any other recommendations or comments on our two potential choices? No pets, no kids - just me and the Admiral!!!

We have found Paradise Park to be convenient. Walk to the beach is about a half mile. But, half of that is along the sidewalk with all the stores and eateries. Hosts were always nice (unless they have changed ownership). Nice pond to sit by, adult and children hot tubs. But Bayleys is nice too.
