recommendations for weekend of 3/18/11

Looking for a good place to camp in NC or SC the weekend of 3/18 - 3/20/2011. Any ideas

I gave you an answer on rv.net about asheville east koa but another idea... raleigh rv show is that weekend. You could always come up this way and visit Jordan lake. Not a lot to do at jordan lake in the off season though. There is also going to the NC zoo in asheboro, I think there are a bunch of campgrounds up there. I haven't stayed at any yet to tell you what they are like but maybe this will give you some ideas

ps if you go to the rv show, maybe we will see you there. We are gonna be there on sat to check out campgrounds etc. Sunday, my husband is getting his head shaved to benefit the st. baldricks society (benefits kids w/ cancer).





Oh and we just joined coast to coast/ travel resorts america at the sycamore lodge campground. IF you haven't been, I think you can get free camping and listen to the spiel (it is time-share like). We loved the campground and the $ made sense to us. If for some reason you join, give us as a referral but I am not recruiting/soliciting so please don't take it that way. We will be staying there the weekend before you are looking togo.I am just trying to help you w/ ideas.
