T Minus 23 hours to leave!

We're spending the day packing and prepping to leave for the Black Hills tomorrow. We are borrowing my in-laws truck as it's over a decade newer than our vehicles and pulls just a bit easier. Took everything for a test drive last night and realized just how worn out our vehicles are! We may be vehicle shopping when we get back!

We have a few mods to complete today to make the TT more useful to us. We'll put shelves in pantry and closet, and an access to cut in the front of the bed platform. I always have a plastic tote for dirty clothes and I've already over having to lift up the foot of the bed to access the tote. It's a 2 person job and with 2 kids that becomes an easy excuse to not keep clothes picked up immediately.

TV bracket is mounted for DH's enjoyment (I survived a 5 day trip without a TV, but to each their own!)

We're excited to hit the road!

Highly recommend Horse Thief Campground, Hill City SD

We had an amazing time at Horse Thief campground! The site was quiet and clean. We were right in the middle of the Black Hills just a few miles from both Hill City and Sylvan Lake. The owners/managers were so friendly. Extremely clean bathhouses and showers. Cell signal was nearly non-existant but the views made up for it! We will go back to this campground in a heart beat. All types and sizes of site available, but weekends definitely book up!
