3565 Miles

Just pulled into the driveway, 3565 miles in 14 days. Minnesota to Winnipeg, ran the Canada #1 to Banff, then north to Jasper. Dropped back down to the US (gas prices!) and scooted across Montana, N. Dakota and home.
Myself, the wife and two boys (8 and 11) All within about 25 feet for that amount of time and no one lost it!
Thanks to all the Canadians for the advise prior to the trip. The Canadian people were so great. Polite, helpfull etc...BUT your highway signage and directional info is a bit lacking!...The kids loved the money, especially the loonies and twonies!

If I can share any details, please ask. I would be happy to help anyone thinking of taking a similar trip.

Sounds like you had a great trip, did it in a Ford Van with my husband and 5 year old daughter years ago, it was a beautiful country.

A good trip indeed! You were moving pretty fast. I agree that the signage is lacking. BC is particularly hard to follow. Here in the east, in New Brunswick, it's pathetic, and I feel sorry for any Americans going through Quebec, if you cannot speak French. Their signage has to be the most "user UNfriendly" in the country.

I'll take "the rabble down south" any day over the Separatists that can be too prevalent in 'La Belle Province" and I am from Montreal originally!
