Does anyone else have issues with their A/C leaking inside their trailer through the intake vent? I just purchased a 23CK 2011 and have already taken it in to get fixed at the dealership that I purchased the trailer from. Sadly, the trailer is in the shop for a second time for the sameproblem.Thanks.

I guess I'll answer my own question in hopes that it will help someone else later. I have taken the trailer in, get this, for the 4th time for the same problem. It leaks water inside through the intake and the "air shower" section of the A/C. I finally TOLD CampingWorld of Houston, Texas to replace the A/C unit and that I was tired of their sloppy taping and overall workmanship as far as I was concerned as it costs me a small fortune to take it to them for repairs. They said they would finally replace it. It is the 25th of July 2011. I will get the trailer back in about a week or so. I hope none of you have to go through what I went through.

Good luck with your AC issue! I have a 2011 Slingshot 29BH that just started having this problem. We had it out in the insane heat this weekend and got a drip of water coming from the air intake about every 30 seconds or so (enough to create a puddle in the middle of the floor).

I considered getting on the roof and checking out the drain pan but then decided that since it is still under warranty I would have them look at it instead. I contacted the dealer this morning and am waiting for an appointment time to get it brought in.

Good luck with yours as well. Mine started as a drip as well but quickly progressed into practically a stream. My recommendation to you is to not allow them to "tape" the inside of the unit with aluminium tape. If you have the same problem as I do, have them fix it quickly and document, document, document! I have pictures if you wish to see them. My email addy is rayteach2003@yahoo.com. Again, good luck!

Toppers is now the Slngshotdealer here in the the Houston area. Took our Sunset in to have the 2nd. A/c installed and had it back 3 days.

We did not buy ours there but so far good service from them.

Sure it's just not high humidity in side the trailer? I know when we go in and out a lot during set up and take down we'll get moisture on the ceiling and a/c cover.

I'm positive it is not simply humidity. It's got an awful problem as it pours. The wood in the interior of the A/C is soaked. We almost filled up an 8 quartDutch pot in 48 hours if that's any indication. A few drops of water I can live with, a pouring stream I cannot.

I wonder if the four bolts that hold that ac in place are tight. If they are not tight the water will run inside instead of on to the roof and off

Although not a Crossroads, our a/c used to leak inside as well. I tilted the trailer back slightly, enough so the water would run off, and no more leaking!!!! Don't know if it'll work in this case.

I questioned that as well at the dealership. They said there was something wrong with the "plentum" (whatever that is and excuse the spelling). Apparently it's some sort of seal that is not seated correctly. Still, after 3 repairs in and out of the dealership, I finally asked that it be replaced. What concerns me, is that the water may have been leaking within the interior of the ceiling and/or perhaps even the walls. Who knows. I'm no A/C expert. Thanks!

Thank you for the response. I actually tried that, but it did not work. It leaked when I placed the trailer in any reasonable attitude. Thanks for the response!
