Can I climb on top of my 24' slingshot without damaging the roof?

NO. Roof material is way too thin. This is an ongoing question. Some place pieces of plywood to walk on. But you got to very careful with that also.

Newbie here,
How do they suggest you re-chalk around the vents and air conditioner if getting up on the roof isn't a good idea?

You can go up on the roof if you span the roof trusses with a sheet of plywood. But you got to be very careful. By the way, I wouldn't recaulk, I'd use Eternabond tape.

Thank you for the response. We do have the Eternabond tape also. That plywood method scares me, I am glad that I am not the one having to go up on it!!
