2013 Jefferson

Well insurance totaled it out. Give me 37k for it after fighting with the insurance company so I only had to pay $1300.00 to pay it off. Now own a Riverstone Legacy 38RE and A lot better coach. Came with full body paint and 3 A/c units and stays cooler inside than the rushmore did and the a/c does not run all day

My good friend owns a Riverstone. Loves it. Great in the winter months also.

I pray this one will last me a long time. Made sure it had covers on all 5 slides this time. I can definetly tell this coach is behind me pulling hills. Thank goodness for Banks diesel kits

I'm curious as to what issues/problems you run into finding campgrounds with sites large enough to accommodate that big of a unit?

I have a permanent site at a campground that is wide open and had no problems yet. a little tight going across the bridge at the camp gound as the Riverstone is a wide body 101.5" wide. Took it to Indian lake state park and was alittle tight but I got it in, It is only 2 feet longer than the rushmore but a lot heavier about 7k lbs. more. But it has 1/2" plywood floors and roof and not cheap balsa wood like the rushmore slides and the roof flexed also on the rushmore and I only weigh 150 lbs. Should have figured that out before buying it. This coach is really solid like the drv and does not flex on the roof or slide outs. Only had it for a month so far but will update as I take it to other campgrounds.

Exclamation

The slide out roofs rotted out and the bedroom was full of mold.Had the big slide rebuilt in 2016. And the repair facility said I needed the all other 3 slides out roofs done.It looked like they used left over 1/4" balsa wood. Their is threads on here about others having the same problem with their slide outs also. They needed slide out covers on them. It is a shame they used such cheap materials on a beautiful coach and charged the price they did.

I had the same problem I had replaced all the slide out roofs. And all motors, drives and added slide toppers to all slides. Total cost was over 8000.00 with the help of 1 mobile RV repair man
