2014 lincoln kitchen slide issue

Having an issue on my kitchen slide. When slide is in and I want to move slide out, the slide starts on both sides but after a couple inches the right side stops and the left side continues. Within a few inches the right size starts up and then the slide goes all the way out. Once the left side is all the way out the right finally continues by it self until it is fully out. When bringing in the slide: Both sides start at same time but the left size stops this time after a few inches while right side continues. Finally the left side will start back and come in . Once the right side is all the way in then the left will finish coming in. Sometimes I do have to help it go in and out with a little push.

I found the OP's description to be very confusing. Not sure what is actually happening, but I think for one side to pause while the other side completes and then for the paused side to finish is not unusual or necessarily an indication of a problem. Mine do that going out and coming in; however, I have never had to give them a push as the OP mentioned at the end of the post. I think that might be the real issue.

further info

I spoke with a local rv service facility. They feel that the motors are weak. They said they have already changed a few. That is a pretty heavy slide. I have an extended warranty so I will be taking it to them next week for service.

issue corrected

Took the unit to have it looked at. They corrected it in about 3 minutes. It was a sync issue but the technician didn't reprogram like the you tube video. He was able to correct it without the slide being all the way in or out. They didn't charge me for this repair so I decided to leave unit there to have axle greased and brakes adjusted. I am a happy camper again. yeehaw.lol
