2014 Rushmore Alpha-Ply roof - how to clean ?

We have a 2014 Rushmore Franklin and I would like to know what folks are using to clean their Alpha-Ply roof. This membrane is only about a dime thick and seems rather delicate.
Anyone have experience with this new roof product and how to clean,
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Lloyd will chime in and tell you about a product named Solvit. It doesn't strip the wax or finish off the sides of the rv. Just got some myself. Worked great on cleaning up my truck inside and out.

By the way, the roof manufacturer does not recommend any roof treatment other than cleaning it.

Reason I haven't said any thing is I'm not sure just what an Alpha-Ply roof is.
I don't know if it's the same as mine or not, or just a new name for the same product??????

My Sunset Trail Reserve has an Alpha Ply roof. According to the literature that came with the TT they suggest Spic n' Span for cleaning. Unfortunately I can't find that product in Canada.

Mild soap or detergent is all that is required.

Thanks Lloyd
How fast things change on the production line is amazing. Is this new roofing better, longer lasting and easier to maintain or is it just a cost savings initiative.
I wonder.....

I have used the product Mark talked about for years now. Solvit. I am a firm fan.
The only thing is, and it might be a big factor for you, is you have to order it by phone from the company. I suppose the freight getting it to Canada might end up being a little costly.

Wow, that is awesome results - white as Canadian snow. We will be wintering in Florida and will buy SOLVIT. Would Camping World have this or ordering direct is the only way?

They are based out of Madison WI. they supply some stores in the state. I have been fortunate that there is one store in the area that has been handling it.
The only way to get it other wise, is to call them.
Mark has the phone # in his post.
