mine doesn't have where you can set a temp. you just turn it on low, medium or high. I have only had it on once and it didn't seem to put out any heat

Can you open up the fireplace at the top front for a control panel?? My fp has a thermostat in there that you can control the temp.

Mine is thermostatically controlled as well. Push and hold button till it blinks, then push and release and repeat till desired temp is reached.

We use the remote to turn the fireplace on and then it has two settings. You will see a single red light or a double red light to determine the heat setting. The fan speed seems constant. We have not found a way to adjust either on the fireplace itself. If someone knows more about this unit, I'd love the info.

RJ the lights are behind the grate which is a door
Grab the vent on the right of the lights it opens
Hinge is on the left of the lights
You will find a on off switch. Heat switch and a dial from 0-9
Guess its the thermostat
