Talking Fixed my squeaky stairs

I cut a two 1X1 to length. Slid into place in between top and bottom frames. No more squeaky floor...yee haw..

Bathroom floor squeak is gone also.

Could not tell in pic is that just a tension fit or have you secured it

Just a tension fix. Since we are fulltime. Stationary for a few more years. But will secure later on. Just glad the squeak is gone.

Squeaks in the middle of the night are the worse. And being in the bathroom, that just calls attention to your ... business.

That should work as long as you are not towing. Squeaks can really bug you. Some can be caused by being not quite level.
