Now that the water is thawed out try running water with the pump and possibly something that was blocking the check valve will be flushed out. Hook back up to fresh water and see if the water tank fills up. If the pump is bad it should be covered under warranty.

After it thawed I ran water several times to help drain tank. When I hooked city water back up (to the empty tank)it was a steady flow coming out the tank.
Thanks for your reply.
I sent an email to ShurFlo but they SHUR did not respond. Am I surprised?

X2, and if they can't/won't do it you might have to bite the bullet and buy for now so you can get on with things. You can argue with CR later.

New check valve remedy for problem of check valve

I'm wondering if Crosswords failed to install check valves in any of the Rushmore models or just left mine out.
I contacted the supplier of the pump and they sent me a new pump check valve. Called my mobile RV Guy and he had it changed in ten minutes for $120.00.
I am in the WRONG profession!
I am happy to have this resolved anyway.

Not at all shy.
We bought our Crossroads for half of the list price, without a warranty. It was a 2013, bought it in September, so it was considered used once the 2014 came out. Purchased a 7 year extended warranty for $2400 but it has a $50. deductible and has not worked at all yet.
All the little problems I have repaired myself, like loose doors, burnt out light bulbs loose components. We full time so I can't give up my home to return to a dealer for service. So I am forced to use the Mobile Bandit.

How much of that was a labor charge and how much for the service call? You didn't exactly drive to his shop. Most have a charge for the service call and a min labor charge, usually an hour. That makes it not sound as bad.... Still hurts but convenience costs.

Service call $65.00, labor charge 1/2 hour $40.
Most of the service people I have used in the pass charge like $85. for the call and the first hour labor included.

Keep in mind that they had to drive to you, as well as drive back.
