Front Cap Hitch Up Lights

I have a 2015 Rushmore Springfield.

Does anyone know where the fuse is located for the string of led's on the lower front cap that is apparently there to help when hitching up at night?

I pulled each of the fuses, one at a time, in the fuse panel, and the lights were not disabled by pulling any of the fuses. Maybe the fuse is located somewhere else in the trailer - maybe in the front storage compartment?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks

You want to turn them off? Or are they dead?

I want to leave my battery disconnect switch turned on when the trailer is in storage, and disable the lights (I thought by pulling a fuse) so no one can turn on the lights and run my batteries down. (The light switch is on the underside of the front cap.)

Is it possible to see where the wire comes thru in the front storage compartment? If you could find them in there, you could break the line and add a fuse if worse comes to worse.

I don't know, but I'll checkout your suggestion.

I'd pull the switch, if possible, and disconnect the wires. Its so low current, maybe its not fused?

If you're not in a big hurry, there are other guys on here with Rushmores that should pickup on this thread eventually and give you the correct answer.

There is a switch inside the storage area by the awning switches & cable hookup.

The dealership told me the switch was wired directly to the battery, but I was unable to identify a wire that ran from the battery to the switch. So I dismounted the switch, disconnected and taped off one wire from the switch, and then remounted the switch. Problem solved.
