Just picked up our new Rushmore Lincoln 11 days ago, first thing this morning we hear a loud noise and thought the jacks gave out as one has already retracted on it's own, upon inspection found that the grey water tank ruptured and was draining onto the ground. This after having issues with TV's not working, jacks creaking and retracting.....really starting to think we made a mistake on purchasing the Rushmore.
We have had a Holiday Rambler A class for 10 years and never had problems like this, never had problems at all!!!!

It might be time for the Crossroads staff to stop spending so much time on social media sites and start paying attention to the forum again. I am sure they paint a rosie picture on those sites but from some of the post lately on here it would not seem to be that way. There are a lot of us that don't do the social media thing for various reasons. Plus the fact they can't even deal with the spam/spammers on here. Get with it Crossroads!

Contacted Crossroads and they are going to send a new tank directly to the service company that will be doing the repairs, and any laborincurredwill be reimbursed to us within 10 days. If all goes as they say, we will give thumbs up for customer service.</span>

Jim, I taking it that you were sitting in the campground/RV park when the tank ruptured??
Had you been traveling prior to that with fluids in the tank?

On another note---would you be interested in posting the landing gear problem over on the

That is good they say they are going to take care of the ruptured tank but you have some other issues that need attention as well. The most important is the leveling gear with a mind of it's own. That could get someone hurt or worse if not fixed in a hurry. Stay on them about the rest of your issues.

Yes we were in the RV/Campground, it happened upon wakening this morning about 7 am, just got into the bathroom when we heard a loud noise.
No, we always drain tanks when we are departing from one campground to another. We have been in this campground in the same spot for about 5 days....it was pretty random.

Hunter11, You are right, the leveling jacks are a huge concern, that will be addressed as well.

I tied to work with old Tom M on may cracked cap. He said in a email that he would take care of it.
Well the cap was painted but not fixed. Take photo's and take notes and document your phone calls. You will need the info later.

Jim &amp; Steph, I hope your dealer is supporting you, theLincolnis quite a rig and should not have such problems. Have your dealer contact Crossroads as well as yourself. You refer to a service company is that directed by Crossroads? Unfortunatelyyou cannot rely on anyone but yourself. Lee is correct document everything. Hopefully it will be rectified quickly to you satisfaction. Good Luck.
Welcome to the forum you will get a lot of support here.

I have been waiting for a slide motor for 2 weeks, we just bought a 2014 Lincoln, we have had a few problems with jacks, water leak, light flicker, we traded a 2007 bounder with no problems, we like it but they better stand behind it.

sory to hear about your problems . when you pay that kind of money , you expect a quality product . their quality control must not exsist after reading all of the problems from various owners .

about them paying you for labor incuured sounds strange . we had some warranty work done on our ST by a local RV shop . not a CR dealer . company paid the Rv dealership not us . that sounds strange . i guess this is the new CR . really don't like what i am hearing . goodluck and keep after them. what happened to you is totaly unacceptable!!

We took our RV to a authorized mechanic to do a look over to see what all Crossroads will need to send to fix the problem and what he discovered was a bit more shocking than what we thought....the tank did not rupture, the support beams collapsed that the tank sits on.....basically the welding gave outand the tank dropped and is now sitting on the belly of the coach, which caused the belly lining to crack.
We spoke with the contact at Crossroads and what they are sending is a new tank as well as 20' of belly lining and theinsulationwill need to be replaced. The mechanic is a welder and said he will check the welding for the black water support while he is in there doing the work.

I did notice when putting the slides in today for transportation, that one of the living room slides seems to struggle and doesn't want to complete the transaction if you will.

accordianman: the reason we are paying for the labor is that the dealers around us told us that because we did not buy the coach from them they would put us on the backburner! So we were recommended this place by Camping World and he does warranty work, he just doesn't want to deal with waiting to get paid, MFG are probably more willing to pay consumer quicker.

That's a terrible attitude from the dealers, I guess they don't want your next purchase to be from them.
Sounds like you are at the right place now. Good of Crossroads to pay for warranty work done at somewhere that is not their dealer. Good luck, Peter.

Just a suggestion, if the repairman is a welder I would also have him look at the frame welds while he has the bottom covering down. Lippert frames are not best known for their superior welding job on frames.</span><br style="font-family: verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;"><br style="font-family: verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;">Sounds like with the slide issue you have another item to add to your list of warranty repairs. Keep everything documented so you have a good paper trail. I speak fromexperience.</span>

Update on our tank issue, first we will say that Crossroads was very cooperative and took immediate action to address the issue. We were highly recommended by Camping World to a guy that works on All Rv's at OC Fleet in Santa Ana, CA. Crossroads send out a new grey water tank and underbelly which took about 5 days for transit, once OC FLeet received it, we took our coach in, what we found out was shocking....when he opened the underbelly, of course the tank fell out on himand also found out that the black tank would have fallen out too but it was being held by the toilet pipes from the floor (YIKES). Apparently the screws(metal set screws) (?) that were used for the support frame to hold the tanks were over torqued and sheered off. Also, when the tank collapsed it pulled all the plumbing pipes from sink and shower and vent. Now the support beams are bolted in with nuts and bolts and are sound. OC Fleet was done in less than 24 hours with our coach....We HIGHLY Recommend them for RV repairs!!
Another issue was our living room tv was not working, we were told to remove the back of the tv to check a fuse, when we did this we found the plug was broken off from the circuit board, we went to Walmart and bought a new tv as we were having satellite installed and needed a working tv. I sent pictures to crossroads and when we explained we needed a new tv immediately and bought one, they provided a call tag to pick up the broken tv and will be issuing us a refund check for the new tv. Kitchen sink started leaking and CR overnighted a new faucet to be installed while it was in the shop.
So far we are pleased with the response and customer service we have gotten from Crossroads, still a bit disheartened on how much money spent on this coach to have all these problems. There are still issues with the slides but I'm tired of complaining.
On the upside, we still love the floor plan and the comfort and the aesthetics of the coach, I think that is helping ease the pain a little.
