Help! What happened to my sound?
Second night out and suddenly no audio sound at all from TV, stereo system , not even static. Any ideas?

make sure the speaker selection button is pushed on.

Checked all the wires from the RCA DVD/Surround system as well as the TV, everything seems to be connected.

I went through two of those......basically junk. I could have gotten a third one installed for my $100 deductible but ended up buying a Harman Kardon instead.
Heck, I can't remember much about how the RCA hooks up. One tip though. If you have the fireplace under the TV, be careful if you unhook the speaker wires. I had to pull the fireplace out and fish the wires back up to the top cabinet.

Well I'm sure I'm outta warranty. Is that what happens? Sound one day, no sound the next day?

I think our first one did that. Second one might or might not come back on if shut down. It went in a dumpster.
You should be able to just hook up the TV and use the speakers on it if it is the RCA unit that is out. I looked at a 35RL on line. Basically like our 38CK except for the kitchen.

Not sure what I did, powered it down, unplugged it. Plugged it back in powered it up. Sound again.

I went thru 3 different RCA systems. Finally gave up. Bought some Edifier Spinnaker Bluetooth speakers. They sound awesome.

Nice setup, but I need more HDMI inputs than the TV has. Apple TV, Directv, ROKU and I need to add a disc player.
