How to Get TV Off Wall

I have a 2015 Crossroads Rushmore Springfield and I need to get the living room TV off the wall so I can repair what I suspect is a faulty coax connection. Does any know how this TV is attached to the wall, and what I need to do to release it from the wall?

Thanks

Can you see behind the TV if you tip it to one side or the other, or use an inspection mirror to see if the TV mount is one that extends or pivots out...It probably pivots, in which case you should be able to reach up behind the TV and feel for a strap that would release a pin so you can pivot the TV away from the wall...Pull the strap and gently pull the TV away from the wall at the same time...

What you say is good advice, but it doesn't work in the case of the Springfield. The TV is recessed and surrounded on all sides. I have an inch gap at the top and bottom and only 2 inches on each side. No way I can reach behind it. I can see some sort of mechanism with an inspection mirror, but can't get a good enough look to tell how it operates.

If no one with a Rushmore Springfield responds, I'll try calling Crossroads.

Try pushing on one SIDE of the TV which should move the other side away from the enclosure...You might be able to get a better look behind the TV...Go to Camping World on the internet and type in "TV Mounts" that way you can get an idea from the pictures how they work and how your mount might disengage...

After much research into TV mounts on the web, and continuing to look behind the TV with a small mirror and flashlight, I was finally able to determine how it was mounted. There are two horizontal rails attached to the wall. The bracket on the back of the TV hooks over the top of the upper rail. The bracket also has two vertically oriented screws that tighten up against the bottom of the lower rail. This prevents the TV from raising up and off the upper rail. It looks like I need to loosen the two screws and then lift the TV off the top rail.

I'll post more when I actually attempt this.
