Unhappy Intellijacks and replacing with auto level system

New rvers in Jan of 2017. Bought 2012 Rushmore 39sb. Love the units comfort, storage etc. but don't like the Intellijacks that don't work. I have to stand and hold button inside storage bay and check time and time again as to where pin is on hitch. It looks like Intellijacks is out of business so does anyone have any insight to get this unit to work. I believe it is supposed to have a magnet on the landing gear that I am suspecting could be the problem, as it will not learn the unhook and autolevel position.
I'm thinking I should just scrap this system and go with an add-on auto leveling system. Any advise here?? Is a 4 point leveling system alright with a 40' RV?
Thanks in advance, Richard

I don't know if you have the manual or not. Just in-case you don't, here is a link to the manual; Intellijacks manual

We have the Intellijacks. Never liked them.....never will! As to auto leveling, I wouldn't think a 40 footer would be very steady on four points. I know ours is very shaky now.

Thanks 2slick

Thanks for your input. It's funny, our first trip out in Feb. we ended up in Rockport. Nice area!

Spent 10 years in Rockport and Aransas Pass. If you spend much time there or anywhere else near the coast, I would recommend getting RV frame sprayed with Fluid Film.

I'd looked at Intellijacks but have decided to put on BigFoot jacks from Quadra (purchased from plugitright.com). I get our installed in September.

I wondered the same thing about jacks & length. I won't know whether 4 or 6 jacks until I get up to Quadra.

The Quadra BigFoot j6-point jack system were installed Labor Day week and we used them last weekend. The camper feels solid & we may do away with the JT Strongarms on the front as well.

I can safely say that I have to wonder why I waited so long. The auto-level worked as advertised. I had a question on Friday evening & sent out a question. Saturday morning, I had a txt & call from the dealer, a call from a senior tech, and a email from the product manager.

If you're interested in getting this system, look up Plug-it-Rite on the web. Diana Irrgang is a great person to do business with. She'd familiar with RV's, particularly 5th wheels as she and her husband, Dutch, full-time.

I have no interest in her company other than I'm a very satisfied customer and I will do business with her again.
