Rushmore Franklin

We were looking at a rushmore franklin that has everything we want except the generator prep, we have a onan generator in our current 5th wheel we would like to transfer it. Is it hard to install without the prep package, the dealer we are dealing with will not install it, it seems to me we purchased a montana that wasnt generator prepped and that dealer installed it no problem, we could keep the transfer switch and control panel, I just wonder how hard it would be to get to get it wired, just wondering if anyone else has run into this.

Dean, If I was spending that much money on a new rig, I wouldn't monkey around trying to install a generator myself.
If the dealer wouldn't do it, and I wanted it, I would order the rig with it already installed.
Course, that's me.

Lloyd, your probably right, I am going to order one with the prep package, I really dont want to order a new generator, mine is like new and we really dont use it alot anymore, but having it at the Hodag Festival comes in very handy as much as the power goes out there.

If you get one with the prep package, it shouldn't be to bad to install yours.
I would check measurements first to make sure it will fit tho.

By the way
