How would one prove, that they were delivered the "show model" , instead of a brand new order? Too many issues with our Rushmore!

Don't see how you could prove you got the "show model" unless you had a picture, with the VIN, of the camper, at the show.

Not sure you could. Also, I bought a show model (bought it a couple weeks after we saw it at the show) and we have had very few issues with our zinger. You may have just bad lucked into a problematic model. I would just contact crossroads customer service via phone (they are bad about responding to email according to reports on this board ).

Why don't you call Crossroads with your VIN and ask them when that unit was built. That should tell you if you got a new unit or one they had prior to the build date you were given. You said your unit was built and delivered in 4 weeks so you should be able to back track to see if it was built in that 4 week period or much earlier and used as a show unit.

This is the reply I gave you the last time you asked this question and it still applies.

Part of Hunter11's reply ""You said your unit was built and delivered in 4 weeks so you should be able to back track to see if it was built in that 4 weeks."
4 weeks I waited 12 weeks in the summer of 2010 for my Cruiser and the industry was not that busy then. Maybe that is siginificant in regard to all the quality issues. That was prior to the "Don Tom Era" Just thinking.

The sticker on the street side of the unit has more than the VIN #, it also includes the manufacturer date. And this is either the scheduled start date or the Monday of the scheduled build week. For a unit to be used effectively as a 'show model' it would have had to be built at least 4 weeks prior to the date it was delivered to you. Also, 'show models' are not carted around the country from show to show. They almost always come from inventory of a dealer attending the show. You know when you received the unit and if there wasn't an RV show in your area just prior to that date, then it is highly unlikely your unit would have been on display.
