tire trouble

well we had our first and I hope last blow out on our Rushmore it did a little damage but were able to fix it the tire that blew was the spare that came on the trailer that I switched out before we left on our trip the 5er is a 2012 I know it is over 2 years old that the tire dealer told us that trailer tires are guaranteed which we did not know has any one tried Carlisle trail RH st235/85R16 tires

Unless you have 7000 lb axles, you could switch to LTs with a 3042 lb capacity. I switched to LTs 4-1/2 yrs ago, BFG Commercial T/As, LT235/85R16 and they are doing fine. STs have lots of problems and short lifespan as you have learned.

Go to a good G rated tire (at very minimum an F rated) on your Rushmore & never worry about tires again.
