"Trailer from hell" is gone

Thank heavens my 2012 Rushmore 34SB is gone! Had more problems then I wish to count. It had been to the dealer several times and even to the factory once and I still had problems. There just seemed to be no end. Finally gave up and traded it in to get rid of it. Been camping for 43 years and beyond a doubt, the worst rig I have ever owned!!! It's not something Rushmore or Thor Industries should be proud of.

Glad to hear the nightmare is over.

Did you trade it in or are you now out of RVing?

Better luck with the next one, if there is a next one... The Rushmore series seems to have had MORE then their share of problems...

I ran across this old thread. (from 5 years ago)
I wonder (can't remember for sure). Was this before, after, or during the the time frame of discontinuing Rushmore and switching it over to Redwood?
Anybody know for sure?

The Redwoods & Rushmore were built in the same assembly plant & both were born approximately the same time.
The Redwood line was under the control of the former management of Carriage & his plan was to be the new luxury line of 5th wheels replacing Carriages, but after just a couple years, management differences got in the way I believe. He went to work for Heartland division & the Landmark 365 was his design that was the plan he had for the Redwoods.
The Rushmore was under Crossroads management & was to be #2 in their line up following the RW, but for some reason or another, quality control or management, it had a very short lifespan.
In '15 or '16, if I recall, Crossroads division was put under the management of Keystone cutting management positions in half.
