I have a 2017 Z-1 18 footer. There must be a safe way to install a ladder on the back. Did you ever contact the factory staff?
This thread is pretty old. That said, I contacted the factory about installing a ladder on my 2017 Zinger 25RB. 5hey said it had the blocking on the passenger side, so I had the dealer install it. Very steady. I also asked about the 300 lbs bumper mentioned elsewhere. The factory said absolutely NOT set up to hold anything beyond the spare...
I was actually amazed that this camper did not come with a ladder. That's so rare. Heck, it's 12'1" tall. They seem reasonably priced online, but I agree on making sure my camper has the blocking. I will call my dealer today.
I'm also curious of the dealer cost you guys are paying.
