horrible experience with the Dealer

I too had a horrible experience with the Dealer I bought my brand new RV from and the manufacturer who refused to honor any repairs to make it right. I came to the conclusion that I am stuck with the failures of the assembly crew and that I learned a very valuable lesson for the next Couch I purchase. I am unhappy to say it will not be a crossroads next time and I will take extra special care to review every inch of the new coach. I pay for the entire unit up front when I purchase and I believe this also causes an issue since the Dealer is unable to mill me thru a finance company to get more money and I chew them down to make the purchase.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck and a bad experience. Not knowing what all made it so bad, all I can add is maybe next time finance it up front and pay it off in the next week or 2.

Crossroads if becoming famous for not building/backing what the build. I am in the middle of the same experience. They have stopped communicating with me....

I am sorry to say that it seems that ever since Thor has taken ownership of the Crossroads brand they have been working to return the brand back to OBSCURITY...I live in S.E.Pennsylvania and when I bought my first CR product I never saw any others in my area...That is how I became a member of this forum and through reading the posts in the rally section of this forum a member of the "NorthEast Crossroads Rally"....All the manufacturers go through ebb and flow periods...I hope that Thor will start to pay attention to CR and take them back to earlier times when they made their customers feel that Crossroads cared about their product...

Unfortunately it won't matter what brand/model/manufacturer/price you get the entire rv industry is the same, NO QUALITY CONTROL & 90% of the dealers can't change a light bulb in 6 months with it messing up a dozen other items. The biggest problem is there isn't 1 person in the whole rv industry that cares about anything but how fast they can build them & get them out the factory door & the profit.

Might be worth posting a nicely worded
"what would YOU do if this was your rv?"
on the dealers facebook page....

sometimes you get a return on investment... but, how did Dalton in The Roadhouse movie say it?
