Post 2010-2011 Crossroads Cruiser 30SK Patriot

We are currently looking for a well taken care of 2010-2011 30SK Patriot. We have a 2007, but the wife saw a 2010 Patriot and absolutely loves the upgrades. So, the search begins. The closer to Kansas City the better, but willing to travel for the right camper at the right price.

The link below is just an example I pulled off google.

It's worth a try... lol

Hello and welcome from a fellow Missourian. We are also in the K C area. About 70 miles east north/east. The patriot is a nice floorplan. Just keep checking the local Craigslist. We bought our Cruiser From CW but the local one would not go to Iowa to get it so we went to Cedar Falls Iowa and got it and saved more then the price of the trip over local CW on same year and Model .

RE

Thank You dagst1, We are about 40 miles ESE of KC. We thought we had one located near Des Moines, but we too late. We've got a nice 2007 Cruiser, so we can wait. I had the same towing setup as you, only it was a 2012, dealer had to go to Lincoln Nebraska to find one with the 4.10. It pulled the trailer fine, That beast gets awfully thirsty, but the 6.0 is bullet-proof. Then I had dreams of a diesel. I found an immaculate 2006 GMC 2500HD with the LBZ Duramax (pre DEF regulations) with only 58,000 miles. So I snatched that one up. Hopefully, That should be my last truck. lol.

I will not start the gas - diesel debate but having well over 1.000.000 miles experience with them I will stick with gas. Yes she don't know how to pass a gas station but she does everything I ask of her. If I had not spent the last 30 years in one I mite think different. But I guess that's why they build both kinds. Showed the wife the floorplan of the SK and she said if we ever trade that would be on her list.

Maybe I should not have showed her.

We live about 120 miles east of KC. We bought our 2010 30SKP new and love it. Previously had a 2003 27RL which was a good camper but no comparison to the 30SKP.

We go to RV shows each year but so far have found nothing we like better. I would like a toy hauler to take my motorcycles but they are so utilitarian that my wife won't put up this them.

The thing we like the most about our 305SKP is the open floor plan...Most of the new campers have an island which kills the openness of the living, kitchen area...

We have a 2009 CF30SKP for sale in case other people who are reading this post are interested. Very nice trailer, we put quite a few miles on it, but can't travel like we used to due to health reasons. Will sell just the trailer, or willing to sell trailer and tow vehicle as a package. 2008 GMC Sierra extended cab 2500HD 6.6L turbo diesel. 96,000 miles.

Thanks for posting. Good Luck selling your camper. We really like the layout and features of the Patriot. It pulls a lot smoother than the 2007 did, with all the upgraded components. What are you asking for yours? I will pass along your info.
