2 blown tires

We just got home from a trip...2 blown out tires... CHANGE YOUR TIRES I would go with load range G up from E... I have done some research... Hercules H901 and Sailun S637 are both great tires... and I think dependable.

Goodyear Endurance is my choice. Purchased a set this summer for my 5er. Has side wall protection.

They are good tires, but whgy not put on tires that are rated to carry more rather than the same?

I just changed my load range “E” tires that came with my rig for Endurance same load rating. If I was at or above my weight limit, I might consider going up a letter grade. But tires are part of your suspension system and the higher you go, the more harshness you have with road bumps, potholes etc. The tires will not give as much and the frame and springs will take more of the brunt. It’s a personal choice if you want to go that route.

Blew out out two in one trip a few years ago in the middle of the summer, on a two-lane highway in Central Texas. Was not pleasant. While in camp that trip, removed each tire and took in to a Goodyear dealer in a nearby town and had them all changed.
One important thing I should have noted. With tandem axles, if one is smart, he will break the lugs on the offending wheel(s), put your leveling boards in front or back of the good tire and roll it up on that instead of using the jack. Would have been a lot more pleasant at 100+ degrees than that lousy jack I was using at the time.

I saw that Good Sam's club has their tire/wheel guarantee on sale for $59. Probably because it is the end of the season for most. Does anyone have this, and is it worth it?
