2014 Silverado duramax service alert

I got a notice in the mail today saying some 2014 silverado's equipped with a 6.6L engine may have a condition where the indirect fuel injector can become stuck in the closed position or can have low flow. This can result in the malfunction indicator light coming on. They said only bring it in if you believe you have this issue. GM is providing owners with coverage for this issue for 10 yrs or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first. They will reimburse owners if they already paid for this repair.

I got a similar notice for a possible trans line fluid leak. Only need to get it fixed if it leaks....10yrs/150K. Seems GM is trying to save money without going the full recall expense.
