Air Bag Install

I just installed the Air Lift, Load Lifter 5000 Ultimate air spring kit on my truck. 3 hours for two guys. Not a bad kit to install - just need some patience, and the right tools. We are off to Newfoundland on Friday for a 3 week trip to various corners of the Rock we have never seen before. I wanted the springs to level out the truck, and absorb some of the "rough terrain" I expect to encounter in rural Newfoundland. Will update on my return.

Hey, thats why I added my airbags to help increase my frames ability to deal with more weight. You know you can tow way more when you install them.

Adding air bags and tires rated at a higher weight capacity may add more safety. Just remember if scaled the police go by the sticker or registration weight. In some states the registration weight may be lighter then the sticker.

Just made a long trip with our 5th wheel, NH to SC. Glad to have the airbags on my F250 for that trip!

You won't regret the bags. They make a huge difference in ride and handling.

Update. Springs are working out great, as expected. They seem to have pretty much eliminated the "chucking", and definitely smoothed out the ride. I am still experimenting with air pressures. I am now at 40psi, I might try 50 on the next leg.
