Mark, you're planning ahead, but I'll tell ya - I towed my friends camper out for him last week with my 2500. I know you're Egoboost does great with your rig, but man was it nice towing with an HD truck. My 1500 did well, but the 2500 is phenomenal and uber stable.

Happy hunting and go Buckeyes!

Thanks

I plan on towing my 32BH tonight for the first time so looking forward to it. For us it wasn’t power it was the trailer to vehicle weight ratio impact on handling when we were (and do) travel out west. My eco boost pulled fine. We crossed the continental divide and we’re passing trucks left and right. That engine is a technological marvel. The hitch weight slowly killed the ride over time even with bags and new shocks.

I've been pulling my rig with an F250 for a couple years. Really liked that truck but pulled the trigger on a 2017 F350 Deisel Dually. Took the rig out last weekend for a test drive. What a difference!

Ford from the Great White North

Impres

Picked up my trailer last night. Incidentally we had our cap repainted under warranty and they had to finish the decals.

I can’t believe the difference. No sway, no pull,..nothing but steady driving. Something about this truck though. We drove several 350 and 350s and this one drives easier. One thing this truck doesn’t have is the Fx4 package. Everything we looked at had it. Waste of money for us. Dealer said we’d have to order special. So that’s another reason why we jumped on this one.

We did have to to invest in hitch adapters since the F350 6.7 p strokes all have 3” receivers. Just worth noting for anyone with a trailer looking at these.

Like my Grandpa used to say. “Jobs easier when u got the right tools”. I wish I had done this sooner. However the first payment bill hasn’t shown up yet. [emoji57]

I have the tech package so adaptive cruise, lane assist, and blind spot monitoring that takes into account the trailer after programming. Real great safety features.

Couple pix

congrats on the new truck, and best of luck with it, looks great...

Impres
best of luck with your new truck also...Also a question, what do you think about the turning radius of your dually..? I traded in a 3/4 ton short bed for a new 2017 F350 dualiy and having a little bit of a hard time getting used to the difference in the turning radius...

She's a beaut!

I was looking at a silver F250, but really love my Chevys. The blue oval "almost" had me!

3" receiver?! mine is 2.5" - bad enough! I just ordered D-rings for the hitch because the safety chains keep getting stuck - damn thing is too big!

Congrats!

Mark, Nice truck!

Sleepy, I've had the same issue's with the turning radius. I now just park in the back of every parking lot and search for spots I can pull forward out of. I drove Limo's for a while and it takes the same strategies. lol. But this truck is just made to pull. About to take it on a long trip. I'll let you guys know how it did.

Yep. White Gold. It’s growing on me. I always liked the monochrome colors We have dark gray on our edge and really like to darker colors but we like this a lot. It looks white in the photos which I didn’t originally like however outside in the sun it is very gold.

The joke in my family now is that it’s the least safe tow vehicle we’ve had because I forget there’s a trailer back there. Crazy torque. 925ft lbs.
