I got news for you, I have a diesel and I find that it would be much easier to get fuel if I had a vehicle that ran on gas...All stations have gas, but NOT all stations have diesel...

I also agree with Lloyd...The more I tow the more I find that because not every station has diesel I have had to put my rig in some really tight situations...The more that happens the better I get at backing out...It also helps do a quick survey of the station before you pull in as to how you are going to get back out...Someone behind you blowing their horn...Keep blowing that horn AH, in other words if they are in a BIG HURRY that's their problem...IMHO...

I've never had trouble at a station but as SleepyT said at times its hard to find diesel. I keep the fuely app on my phone to make sure I can always find a local station when we need it.

I've decided to avoid filling up all together now and have ordered a 50 gallon Titan tank.

I'm not worried about the width of stations, just the height. I can see both sides easily enough but some of the older, smaller stations just aren't tall enough.
With my stock 38 gal tank, I haven't had issues finding fuel and that's after not allowing it to drop below a third of a tank.
When on the Interstates, I now look for the larger truck stops for diesel. Most truckers don't have issue with larger RV's and height isn't an issue.
I don't remember ever having to back out of a station but we're pretty careful to diagnose the station prior to pulling in.
