Got my weight finally

So on the way camping today i stopped and got my weights didn't get the rear axle, the label on my trailer say certified empty weight is 7720...lol but loaded ready to camp the scale say 7620 i think crossroads is a little off you think.

combined 15500 from what i can find on a 1993 F250 with a 460 auto

I know I'm close on the combined weight but it pulls good may look for a diesel soon, i think there just guesting at the weights i seen a trailer just
like mine on the lot before i took mine last year that said it was just over 8000 Lbs empty.

You forgot that the hitch weight that was on the truck when on the scale is really part of the certified empty weight that CR stated. Assuming a minimum 10% hitch weight, total trailer weight would be around 8500 lbs. So, you have added maybe 700 lbs of gear, water, propane, battery, etc.

Great, Now you need to get an unhitched weight so you can really see what the numbers show you. By getting the unhitched weight you can calculate tongue wright and make sure your wdh is doing its job or adjust accordingly. Based on truck label, you might be light on the front and need to adjust the wdh.

Came across the dump scale a few months back and it said 6740 and that was just a i would go camping both tanks full me and wife i don't usually put anything other then 2 bikes in the bed.

There are probably too many differences between the 6740 number months ago and the latest hitched number of 7040 for the truck as that implies just a 300 lb hitch weight which is not reasonable.

When we weigh, we usually go to a local cat scale and run a weight with and without the trailer. A pass hooked up without the wdh is a good help too. When you weigh, get the truck front axle on the first scale pad and rear axle on second scale pad. Then do a pass with truck same as first weigh but all trailer axles on the third scale pad. Typically cat scale will run $9-12 for first pass and $1-3 for each additional pass in a 24 hr period.

We weighed our rig two years ago at the local grain elevator. It was $5. First we weighed the whole rig, then disconnected and removed the truck and got a weight of just the trailer. The $5 covered both.
