Hitch Weight?

Have my new Sunset Trail 250RB coming in a couple weeks. It has a UVW of 5200lbs max out at 7500lbs. I have my hitch from my old TT with 750lb bars, will these work or do I need to get 1000lb bars?

Correction looks like the next step up is 1200lb no 1000lb available.

If you take 13 - 15% of you max weight (7500) you get about 1100 lbs so the 1200 lbs bars is what you will want.

My TT has a dry weight of 5700 lbs and a gvwr of 7700 lbs. our tt weighs in at 7000 lbs loaded and has close to 1000 lb tongue weight. we have the 1200 lb bars for our TT.

I agree with Anaro - our HW is actually 720#, but we have 1200# WD

Thanks all, I ordered the 1200lb bars. Wish they made 1000lb though.
