My new f250

Just picked up my new 250 yesterday. I will likely be moving up to a fifth wheel in a year or so, in the meantime it should work well pulling my 26RB.

Very nice. Good luck with it and good luck choosing a new 5er when it's time.

I would suggest you either add air bags or helper springs to rear axle before you sit a 5th wheel down in your bed. Fords are known to squat badly. By the way, did you get the factory Puck system in your bed?

I don't know where you got that piece of info from.
I had a 2500 Duramax and now my 2013 Eco-Boost. They both settled about the same when I set the 5th wheel down in them.

Steve, nice looking truck. Congrats.

I do plan to add air bags soon. I had them on my F150 and liked them. It did come with a "camper package" which provides a front spring upgrade, auxiliary rear spring and rear stabilizer bar. I did not get a fifth wheel prep package if that's what you are referring to for the factory puck.

Nice truck! Wise of you to go Diesel. I have the F-350 Diesel and love it. No more whining when climbing hills or mountains with your 5er on.

Congratulations, even though it has a blue oval in the grill.

Huh?
My F-250 pulls my 15,500 gvw 5th wheel just fine and level, without added help.

Must be another one of those Ford commies!

Congrats on a very nice truck.

Nothing wrong with the Blue Oval. LOL. Driven three of them over the past 18 years. I'm very happy with my '15 F-250 SD.

Only squats if you put a level kit on it to raise the front end 2 1/2 inches when unloaded. Then you need air bags to level up the rear with 5er pin weight. You'll be fine without air bags but I find they do help with chucking by firming up the rear end.

Then 95% of them have leveling kits on the front because they are all squatted that I've seen with any kind of trailer behind it.
