Per some suggestions to look at the Hensley Arrow and the Propride 3P hitch. I have ordered the ProPride 3P Trailer Sway Control Hitch to help with my slightly overweight issue. Of course I still want be doing any long hauls till I can come up with a new TV. Sean was very helpful @ Propride.

Glad to hear about the new hitch. Again, best of luck to you. Show us pics when the TT comes in.

The sales guy at CW was not happy, said I should purchase everything together for a better fit. Told him I would take my chances for a better hitch.

He wasn't happy because it was less of a sale. You will be happier with the handling. If it makes you feel any better. When I bought my TT, I made a deal at the sale for the ez-lift or whatever generic brand wdh w/ integrated sway control. I later learned that I should've gotten a better hitch. I called the dealer (camping world)back and got upgraded to reese dual cam but it cost me some more $$$ to do it. With a properly matched combo, the reese dual cam is a great hitch but with a unit pushing limits, a higher end hitch is better.

First, great decision on picking the 3P hitch , you won't regret it.

Yes, Sean is great to work with. I wish all company's had the customer service that Propride provides.

I installed mine myself last weekend. I would recommend installing yourself since any dealer isnt going to have anymore expertise in installing these hitches than you would. Sean convinced me of that.

Give yourself a solid day to install. The hitch goes on um..."without a hitch" (bad pun). It's the mods to the trailer I had to make to accommodate the jacks and hitch box (move and raise propane tray/tanks, wiring harnesses, paint rust and scrapes)

The directions are detailed, but I'm a visual guy (sorry Sean , I'm no engineer). What was really helpful was a kind fellow who documented his install with step by step photos. Link below..

I agree with mmuha on the installation. I did it myself in a few hours. If you don't have a helper a floor jack is handy for holding stuff in place while you tighten the nuts and bolts.
