Nice truck ! As you can see I am partial to white trucks. You will love the diesel when towing. You just might have to grit your teeth a little at maintenance time.

Aileen,
Congrats on the new TV. It will feel like you have nothing behind you when pulling with that rig. I almost pulled the plug on an F-350 dually this winter, but I couldn't get out to test drive it because of being incapacitated...so I figured it wasn't meant to be. Best of luck.

Travel well,
Jim

Thanks... yeah I'm used to the diesel maintenance costs so I know what to expect there.

Jim- we looked at a couple trucks and walked away from a deal on a ram 3500 CTD because they wanted more for their truck then we were willing to give and less for our truck then we were willing to take. We said the same thing, it just wasn't meant to be. We then went thru several silverado finding the one with the right capabilities for us. (3500 short bed has hitch weight rating of 1500 lbs vs long he'd hitch weight rating of 2000 lbs). I actually made the dealership they got it from take a pic of the hitch to make sure it was right. This truck was truly meant to be. I'm sure you will find your truck someday too.

Bert- it's a 2014 and aside from color it is pretty much my dream truck too. I got the last 2014 long bed diesel crew cab 4x4 in a 500 mile radius so there was no color choice. I wanted black, blue or maroon but color took a back seat to capability and the white is growing on me now that we added the chrome steps.

You will love the long bed. We have similar F350 and length really improves the ride and handles the wind. Congrats on new TV

Trust me, I know how hard it is to find. 3500 that's not a dually and a long bed. I heard Chevy is only making long beds in an extended cab and not crew cab. Slap a horn on it, that things a Unicorn.

And DEF.
