Could be...both my GM vehicles were made in Canada.

Congrats, sorry a bit late to this thread. Pulled last season with my EcoBoost and love it! Throughly impressed with it, they were made for pulling! Traveled from VA to ME and everywhere in between. Best of luck!

Who knows. Sounds as good an explanation to my foolishness as any. Glad to know I have the 36 gal.

That's another 48 lbs of stuff you could have carried.

We are getting desperate for topics!
Anyway, I will continue the subject,
I had a standard cab, full size bed ford a few years back that ran dual tanks. I think they were both mid 20's in size. Had the switch to flip between tanks. This was a great feature. Does anyone offer a dual tank set up anymore?

Yes. There's an outfit in CA. that offers all kinds of fuel options, but it gets spendy.

Had it for almost a month now.
Really like the truck, The ride and quietness are impressive. I would normally say impressive for a truck, but this is impressive for any vehicle. I have not had a chance to tow with it yet. I am looking forward to that soon. Without towing I can tell you the power band is incredible. A lot of torque. There are a few things that I am not thrilled with but with time will figure out how to adapt. One thing I did not like was the 6 speed tranny seemed to be hunting for gears a lot in town. Especially around 30-45 mpg. kept trying to get into 5 and 6th which then felt boggy. Then someone pointed out that I can "lock out" 6, and/or 5th, 4th etc.... symply by pushing the gear selector switch on the shift knob. So now when in town, if it bugs me I just take away that option. I will try to post some pics soon.

Think the base engine is the same between the truck and my wife's leased 13 Explorer Sport...
but the engine tuning. etc... are probably different.
I will say this, we like that engine/tranny so well we will probably buy it at the end of the lease !!! Have not had the least issue out of it in 45k miles.
This sport has paddle shifters standard and while the tranny stays in gesar a NIT longer than I like, I can always just flick a finger and upshift whenever I want... and with 365hp in less than 5000 lbs --- WOW - it scoots !

Base engine in 15 F150 is a 2.7 twin turbo. I think the Explorer sport has a 3.5 twin turbo.
