Trailer Dolly

Since there are times it's a nightmare to backup a travel trailer into a tight spot, I am considering of getting a trailer dolly. Does anyone use a dolly and share your experience with them?

Just trying to help, but if it's a nightmare to backup,
then I might suggest more practice and a spotter you trust

Our 40 foot 5'er with dual cab pickup could be put within a couple of inches of where we wanted it.

Just take your time, it's not a race and eventually it becomes second nature.

I have been using a Power Caster for about five years to park my unit inside my shop. I was able to find a used one online and I'm well satisfied with it.

I also am considering one to 'pull' my trailer into the parking spot instead of backing it in. This would allow me to open the door and awning toward the back yard instead of toward a fence.

All of my moving is on concrete. I think as long as the surface is hard packed it should work. There are also units that are 12v powered but since I would not be using it a lot I didn't want the issue of keeping a battery charged.
