Well after speaking calmly to the service manger and expressing my displeasure with this entire fiasco we came to an agreement. They replaced both with Timken bearings agreed to a full 1 year warranty and I didn't pay anything.

Still nobody in the entire dealership could tell me how they could fail so quickly. One tech offered " You must drive on some truly shitty roads" But with zero damage to my tires even that was hard to blame.

"before I figure out they are no good?" I would expect the dealer to figure out whats wrong as thats what I'm paying them for. It's not my job to figure anything out. How many wheel bearings have you had fail in less than 6 months.

Bad parts? Bad Install? Crappy roads?

Who knows.

Today, the front wheel bearing assemblies are only sold as a complete replacement. You have to replace the unit when it goes bad? As a sealed unit, you would expect 75-100k miles average.
Sounds like a raised truck with very large tires?

It's all 100% stock except for the tires which are Cooper rather than the OEM.

Correct...you must replace the complete assembly. I have averaged 60,000 miles and replaced twice. It is all factory. Only used to tow boats and misc trailers until I bought camper. Mostly all highway miles. Only see's off road use during hunting season. Who knows why they don't seem to last?
