actually problems

I have a sunset trail grand reserve it has a Coleman 15000 btu ac unit temperatures inside rv so far have been as high as 94 degrees we have already ordered a second ac to be installed and even are using a stand alone 13000 btu ac unit and it has not changed anything so I am worried that I have wasted the money getting a second ac unit I just don't think my rv was insulated What do y'all think

Here is a good link that was hashed out earlier pertaining to the same problem you have.

Just curious.. What's the temp outside? It might help to put foil insulation in the windows. We do at 90° +. Helps a lot.

Mine wasn't cooling good, hasn't since I bought it, it was 88 outside and 78 inside. I pulled the cover off and noticed my condenser wasn't sweating, had Freon added. Will run you out now. Last weekend with the camper sitting in the sun it only got 76 with it running on low (there was something wrong with the parks power box)

Absorption refrigerators use ammonia and not freon. Be very cautious in knowing what type reefer is in your RV. All dual electric and propane I am aware of are absorption which use no freon. Apparently many new units are using home style compressor style which are 120VAC often utilizing an inverter to convert 12VDC to 120AC.

How did you add freon to your ac? Unlike your residential or auto ac there are no ports built into it to add/check freon. Did you or someone sweat in the ports?
Unless you're a HVAC tech or related to one not sure how you even had freon available.
