leaking slide out

I am just curious if anyone else has had a problem with slide out leaking when the slide is closed. The slide does not leak when when it is open. This has been going on for three years and no one can find the leak.

I've had a similar problem. It only leaks when towing in the rain. I think it is from the tires throwing the water up. I found an opening at the lower front corner of the slide at the floor level. I attached some rubber weather strip to the slide and it solved the problem. I could tell it was road splash because there was sand where the water came in.

I know the bulb seals they use are cheap and flimsy. Maybe a new set of the seals will seal the slide better than the oem ones.
