Tv antenna

Have 2013 25rb I just bought not too long ago and having trouble picking up tv stations with it . It’s a low profile Jensen antenna that doesn’t move and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? My old tt with the batwing picked up tons of channels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have the same trailer and you have to go into settings on tv and play around with it...forget how . Make sure booster is on . May be bad co ax connections behind cover with booster on it above the tv.

Don’t see a booster just a cable/air switch with a fuse sticking out of plate

That switch means Cable=booster off, and Air=booster on. It should work a LOT better in the Air position. If not, check the fuse. Try to determine if 12VDC is present. If a small LED comes on, you have power.

The led light is red..... just seems like i should get more channels than this. I have been doing some research and have been looking at the jack king directional antenna. Any thoughts of this antenna? From what I read seems like people have had really good luck with this antenna

Be sure the TV is set to antenna and do a channel search.

Tv antennas

I have the King directional and works well, switched from batwing. What is critical is the power button 12v must be on as evidenced by red illuminated light at the interior cable connection, also if using the king you can look up from ground level and that too has a lit red indicator light. (Easier seen at night) Let’s you know it too isn’t or is getting power. Do a channel search using “air channels”.. A big help are some free smart phone apps...”TV Towers” and “OTA” (over the air). It picks up your exact location and displays magnetic heading and distance to the station. Then I use the compass app on phone to aim/point to the station. Two hints.... be sure to turn off the air power button when not you are not viewing it will be additional drain on 12v and if boon docking, using generator (like me) it can easily be missed if its like mine hidden in a closed cabinet. Also it’s the squared edge that points to the station, even though it looks like the pointed edge should point. Good luck

Thanks for pointing the directional aspect of this antenna. I wondered which way was the direction.

We replaced the factory Jensen omnidirectional antenna with the King antenna also and it was a big improvement over the factory antenna.

Did you install it yourself? If so was it it a straight forward installation?

No I did not do the installation, the camper was at the dealer for some warranty work so I had them install it.

We have the Razor Automatic on our unit which I installed about 2 years ago and have really liked it. You can find my write up on it at the link below. I love that I don't have to try and find a good signal it does it all for you at a touch of a button. It takes about minute or so to cycle and then goes back to the strongest signal. You run the scan on the TV and done!
