Water heater questions

Hi all. Sitting in new to us 2010 cruiser 32bl. The electric heating element for the water heater works great but I'm having trouble with the gas portion. I wish on the switches it showed which way was on. That would help some. The red pilot light doesn't light up whether switch is up or down. The water heater isn't lighting. I could probably go forever on electric but I would like to figure this out.

I believe on your model the red light only comes on if there is a system error. If the water is hot from the electric side, then the gas side won't light till the water cools down or you use hot water for a few minutes. On mine, pushing the bottom of the switch is off, pushing the top is on. My rig is a 2007 so you may have a newer version of the panel.

Start by checking the fuses in the power center. Fuses are 12 volts, circuit breakers are 120 VAC.

I have the same model only a 2008 The red light on the water heater switch does not come on unless there is a propane problem
