303 UV protectant

I'm a new user of this product. I was under the impression that it would not turn my tires brown after a month or so like silicone products do. I was wrong. Can anyone explain why this would happen and what the remedy would be? I ordered a gallon of it.

I use it on everything I own and have never had a problem.

I just began usin 303 on my decals. I plan on using on dashboard, tires, and maybe more. Turning brown, sounds odd...

The brown "staining" was from an application of silicone based protectant that my neighbor insisted on applying over two years ago to my tires. Yesterday I scrubbed them real well with a brush and Simple Green and applied 303; all is good. Evidently I hadn't effectively cleaned the old silicone off before applying the first coat of 303 which caused the "browning". I also applied the 303 to my black bumpers and rubber seals as well as all interior trim. It worked real well. I can now use the 303 to replace several separate products I've used in the past.
